I am sure she would have wished for a pause button in life so she could have frozen those wonderful memories with her “fine child”. Moses’ mother saw that Moses was a “fine child” and so she hid him for three months. 4 His sister stood at a distance to see what would happen to him.“ Then she placed the child in it and put it among the reeds along the bank of the Nile. 3 But when she could hide him no longer, she got a papyrus basket for him and coated it with tar and pitch. When she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him for three months. “ Now a man of the tribe of Levi married a Levite woman, 2 and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. It was then God spoke to me through the life of a brave mother who decided to do something extraordinary to save her child. I was also slightly sad in the corner of my mind to see how quickly the kids grow and I was wishing if there is a pause button in life so I can freeze these moments. To my knowledge this was one of the best summer holidays we ever had. Personally I was slightly sad to see a great summer vacation (after a year long covid saga) coming to an end. No matter how strong you are it is always an emotional day to see your kids go to school for a new term especially after 2 months of fun, frolic and sometimes frustration too! I saw some parents with tears as they left their kids in school. Today was “back to school” day for my kids and many other kids in Central Scotland.
